  • Co-Founder

    Josie Anne Augustin, PhD, is a licensed psychologist practicing in the South Florida area. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Nova Southeastern University, where she majored in Psychology and Sociology and minored in Counseling. She then obtained her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Josie has completed several rotations, both pre-doctoral and post doctoral, providing testing and therapy services to a wide variety of populations. She remains passionate about providing educational and psychological services to help individuals meet with success and ensure global wellness.

    Presently, Dr. Josie also works at her private practice, Step Up: Child Psychological Assessment Services. She conducts various (neuro)psychological evaluations with children, adolescents, and college students. Her goal is to ensure that, in what may be a standard classroom, every child has a chance at success. She also provides therapy services to adults to address mild depression, mild anxiety, acculturation/ethnic minority issues, adjustment problems, relationship problems, and family/generational conflicts. If you are covered by Aetna and would like to schedule an appointment with Dr. Josie you can do so directly here.     Dyona Augustin, PhD, is a licensed psychologist practicing in South Florida. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Dyona provides therapy to adults struggling with various issues including anxiety, relationship difficulties, depression, cultural issues, and more. She has a special heart for helping women who struggle with anxiety, inadequacy, imposter syndrome, and assertiveness. She cares about all of her clients and enjoys working collaboratively with them to reach all of their goals—big or small. 

    Dr. Dyona uses several techniques (e.g., Socratic questioning, confrontation, cognitive restructuring, etc.) to help challenge clients to make the changes they need to better their lives today. She is a direct, solution-oriented therapist who allows her clients space to discuss their concerns and work towards finding a solution that works best for them. Her primary goal is to help everyone she comes in contact with to empower themselves by learning skills they can apply in their own lives, and enable them to find renewed purpose and meaning in their lives.
